External wall system
Building Safety Programme: estimates of EWS1 requirements on residential buildings in England, suggests that for the purposes of its analysis non-cladding, states: 'External wall systems (EWS) are the combination of the external facing material (e.g. brick) and the insulation within the external wall. Each building may have one or more external wall systems.'
